The Policies
Payment Policies
Here’s how it works:
1. Pay before your first class
You’ll need to pay the monthly fee and the one time registration fee before your first class.
2. Pay by the last Friday of the month
For current students, payment is due on the last Friday of each month for the upcoming month. A late fee applies to any late payment.
3. Pay in full or in two parts
You can either pay all at once or split it into two payments—half by the last Friday of the prior month, and the other half by the 15th of the month.
4. Payments in USD via PayPal
All payments must be in US dollars through PayPal.
5. No rolling over hours
Your payment covers the calendar month, and any unused hours cannot be carried over to the next month.
6. Schedule confirmation
At the end of each month, we’ll confirm and make any schedule changes for the following month before your next payment is due.
7. Extra class days
If a month has an extra class day (for example, a month that has five Mondays, not just four), you can choose to either pay for the extra class or take that week off.
8.The registration fee
Pay one time only as long as you remain an active student.
If you’re inactive for three months or more, you’ll need to pay the registration fee again to restart classes.
Scheduling and Rescheduling Policies
We get it—things come up!
Keep these guidelines in mind when scheduling and rescheduling classes:
1. Scheduling in advance
At the end of each month, we’ll send a message to confirm your schedule and hours for the next month. This is your penalty-free chance to make any changes and adjust your hours or schedule.
2. Confirm early
We schedule classes monthly on a first-come, first-served basis. When you receive the scheduling message, respond and pay ASAP to reserve it.
Unconfirmed slots may be released to other students.
Your class is only held once confirmed and paid.
Teachers can’t hold spots for late responses.
3. Reschedule with four hours notice
All schedule changes must be made with more than four hours notice otherwise no refunds or reschedules.
4. Make two changes per month
You can reschedule up to two times per month (as long as it’s done with at least 4 hours' notice) without any penalty.
5. Keep classes within the same month
Any rescheduled classes must happen within the same month. Exception: if the rescheduled class falls in the last five days of the month. In that case, it can carry over.
6. No double rescheduling
Once a class is rescheduled, it cannot be rescheduled again.
7. Another teacher if necessary
If you and your teacher can’t find a good time to reschedule together, another Speak More teacher will step in for that one class.
8. No classes while driving
If you are running late to class, you may join from a car or public transportation only if you are not the driver. For safety and liability reasons, students are not permitted to attend class while driving.
If you are unable to join safely, wait until you are home and settled, or you will need to miss or delay the class.
9. Group classes are a unit
The whole group is considered a unit. Everyone in the group must agree to any changes.
